Abstract

|
Physical examination of rotator cuff lesion by experienced clinician is the most valuable and useful diagnostic tool. Clinician must have a good understanding of functional anatomy and pathophysiologic mechanisms of rotator cuff lesion. This article summarise the inspection, palpation and special tests for rotator cuff disease. This outline assists the examiner in diagnosing rotator cuff disease and developing plan for rehabilitation.
